Cathryn Fairlee will tell and sing, Carl Sokol will play guitar and sing. The stories are legends and folk tales representing a culture seeking equality and freedom. Each song relates the emotion and artistry of the culture of the African Americans. To survive, they used humor and cleverness and very moving music.
