Join It's a Pitte Rescue and The Theatre of Western Springs for a benefit performance of Little Shop of Horrors. Billed as a 'comedy horror musical' the show follows Seymour Krelborn, a meek and dejected assistant at a floral shop who happens upon a strange plant, which he affectionately names "Audrey II" after his crush at the shop. Little does he know that this strange and unusual plant will develop a soulful R&B voice, a potty mouth, and an unquenchable thirst for HUMAN BLOOD.
All proceeds will go to It's a Pittie Rescue. There will also be a raffle and/or silent auction to help raise additional funds.
It's A Pittie Rescue is dedicated to rescuing, rehabbing and rehoming pit bull type dogs and educating people about one of America's most loyal and kind canine companion. IPR is a foster based program that brings each dog into a home. This allows each dog to decompress and understand that a loving forever home is where they belong. We believe this enables our rescues to have a better chance to live the best possible life. We are a 100% volunteer based, no-kill rescue. www.rescueapittie.org. |
