Community Transportation Association of the Northwest and the NW Travel Training Group have partnered to present the region's second annual conference focused on building and enhancing educational and best practice opportunities for Mobility Management and Travel Training professionals and organizations. The conference will be held Tuesday, March 22 - Thursday, March 24 at the Emerald Queen Hotel & Casino in Fife, WA.
This exciting three-day event will focus on important skills and tools for those working in the field, including an all-new "Travel Training 101" Course for those who are new to the profession. The conference culminates by bringing Mobility Management & Travel Training professionals together with social service agencies, educators and others.
Who Should Attend?
The entire summit is perfect for those working in the travel instruction and mobility management fields, including newcomers and seasoned professionals. On March 24th, social service agencies, veteran's organizations, community groups, schools, educators, social workers, case managers, and those working with clients in residential facilities, mental health organizations, hospitals, shelters, business groups and others are invited to learn how mobility management and travel training can enhance their services, and how to connect with opportunities in their areas.

This conference offers several special features, including "Travel Training 101" for those new to the field, special networking opportunities, and courses on teaching the importance of including travel and transportations plans for clients, customers and the community-at-large. Plus, more! The conference includes more than 25 sessions overall, and features an opening reception.
Registration includes conference attendance, networking opportunities, lunch, and the opening reception. Early Bird Cost (Before February 1st): $175* for 3-day Conference, or $60* for 1-day registration. Registration opens October 15th and lasts through March 1st. (Add $25.00 after February 1st).
Lodging is available at the Emerald Queen Hotel and Casino, which includes several restaurants and after hours activities. Lodging for the conference is $89.00/per night. Community Transportation Association of the Northwest is a membership-based organization, encompassing nonprofit, for-profit and public transportation providers, as well as Medicaid brokers, planning organizations, service agencies (such as senior centers), and other partners all specializing in and embracing providing transportation to individuals and families with specialized transportation needs throughout Washington State and the Northwest region. Together, our members are responsible for and committed to connecting the most vulnerable people in our communities to resources, services, employment, hospitals, education and more. We provide educational opportunities, collaborative networking opportunities and aid in the research and development of best practices in the field. The conference is open to all interested parties, and your organization does not have to be a CTANW Member to participate. Early Bird Cost for non-members is $200.00 for the 3-day conference, and $75 for the 1-day conference. Add $25.00 for registration after February 1st.
