Daddy's Dyin' - Who's Got The Will?
Daddy's Dyin' takes place in the summer of 1986 in Lowake, Texas, and follows the adventures of the Turnover family as they try to settle Buford Turnover's affairs before he inevitably kicks the bucket. The problem is, Buford has misplaced his will, and it is up to his children the spinsterish Sara Lee, the estranged preacher's wife Lurlene , the beer-swilling abusive Orville, his ever-suffering wife Marlene and six times married country singer wannabe Evalita to find it. The Turnover family is less concerned about Buford's will, and more with bickering amongst themselves about who wronged whom in the past. Sharp-tongued matriarch Mamma Wheelis and Evalita's hippie boyfriend Harmony try to keep the peace, but even they cannot stop the family from falling apart at the seams. Hilarity, as they say, ensues.
Performances will take place Thursday, October 15 through Saturday, October 17 at 7:30 PM (doors open 7PM), and Sunday, Ocotber 18th at 2:30 PM (doors open 2PM). Tickets are $13.00.
