"Made in the Shade" Bird Walk
How do our local birds beat the mid-summer heat? We'll find out as we explore Sugarloaf's cool shady habitats. We'll practice ID skills - especially song awareness, while learning lifestyles and seasonal patterns of resident and migratory birds. Beginning and experienced birders are welcome on this easy walk, including families. Wear good walking shoes, bring water, a snack, sun protection, and binoculars if you have them. We will have some extra binoculars. Please join us for lemonade in the shade and bird cookies after the walk. Leaders: Carolyn Greene and Will Anderson.
