MIchael Taussig Talk at the Artist's Institute
Anthropologist Michael Taussig presents a talk entitled "Schneemann and Shaman," examining connections between the two and how each might illuminate the other with particular reference to the human body, to animals, and the wild. Michael Taussig is professor of Anthropology at Columbia University and author of "Shamanism, Colonialism, and the Wild Man: A Study in Terror and Healing", as well as "Beauty and the Beast".
