Acrobatic Conundrum Volume 3 is a curated cabaret of avant-garde circus creations in which the performers reveal elements of the performing life normally hidden. The act creation process, the meticulous preparations for the show, and the true degree of risk inherent in circus life are shared with the audience in a rare exhibition of the offstage life on stage. See circus artists give rare glimpses into their humanity at the same time demonstrating their awe-inspiring talents as facile trapeze artists, graceful acrobats, and deft object manipulators.
Volume 3 includes a group performance piece by six aerial rope artists with wildly different styles that showcases the versatility of this simple apparatus, and the passion and ingenuity of these artists. Other performances include specialists in cyr wheel, aerial straps, and partner acrobatics --all while being accompanied to live 90s rock music performed by guitarist and singer Morgan Sobel, and Faith Stankovich of the Dream On band.
Volume 3 circus performers include Acrobatic Conundrum members Terry Crane, Carey Cramer, Erica Rubinstein, and Ty Vennewitz, with featured guest performers Alex Allan, Justin Credible, Anna Thomas Henry, Leah Jones, Jonah Katz, Faeble Kievman, Matthew "Poki" McCorkle, Sommer Panage, Laurie Roger, Ellie Rossi, Noa Schnitzer, and Madi Ward.
This event is part of THREE HIGH, a series of contemporary circus performances presented by Acrobatic Conundrum at 12th Ave Arts.
