Wang Fei & Li Xiangting
Renowned guqin performer Wang Fei will join her teacher, Li Xiangting, one of today's leading guqin masters, a Living National Treasure of China, to guide us on a special musical journey. It will commemorate her grand teacher, guqin master Zha Fuxi. This concert will introduce guqin music from various past dynasties through to the present day and will focus on Zha Fuxi's music and style as well as presenting a newly composed work to celebrate the 120th anniversary of his birth and the 70th anniversary of the Library of Congress recordings.
