Unequally Yoked
Synopsis

What has Franklin Regis gotten into?  In "Unequally Yoked", life is proving to be quite a challenge for him as the newly appointed Pastor of the Church of Genesis To Revelations.  Saddled with an unruly flock, cuckolded by a dazzling new wife with unholy aspirations and faced with saving a family legacy that is quickly unraveling.   Pastor Regis finds himself between a rock and a hard place.

What People Are Saying

Talented and Gifted! Had the pleasure of checking out "Unequally Yolked" Written and Directed by Lynette Blackwell and it was amazing. April May as "Lola" was hilarious. She may have enjoyed that part a bit too much though. Lol. Go check it out folks.. You won't regret it!
I. Grigg

An inspiring production about the power of forgiveness.  The unseen hope and love found only through Christ.  A play that doesn't weary the eyes, but inspires our heart.

We had a VERY good time at the show.  Michael's favorite is Ice Pick.  Thank you Lynette Blackwell for a nice Sunday evening.

This was a fantastic play, there wasn't a dull moment.  It was like an emotional roller coaster it made you wanna laugh, tear up, and think about what would happen next.  It gives you a little old and new school, capturing the interest of all generations, and at the same time sending a message and an eye opener to leadership and the saints of God.  Lynette is truly gifted!
Mclean

I had the opportunity to attend this play on last evening.  It was awesome.  The actors and actresses were superb.  The play gives a full analogy of what Pastor groupies do.  it's scenes drew the audience to interact with the actors during the theatrical performance.  More than a timely drama about leadership tension, but a spiritually potent story that portrays people looking toward a better life.  it creeped in on me slowly, by degrees.  I was hardly aware of it until that moment when i couldn't even stand to be around the subtitled devices of satan, and i started grumbling because "Lola was off to he next victim.  Lynette Blackwell; you have proven yourself to be a playwright!
E Piccola Foster-Lewis

It was a spiritual, humorous, heartfelt and just flat out reality play. It was easy to relate to the characters because in life we all know someone just like the characters presented. I chuckled, praise God, and laughed extremely hard while watching this play. It's a must go see! You will walk out at the end of the show still chuckling shaking your head!
